How to use GPT Image 2.5
Create from text or work from your own images in three steps.
1 · Pick Flare or Sunburst
Choose Flare or Sunburst from the model menu. Enter a prompt to create an image, or add references to edit an existing image.
2 · Describe and configure
Write a prompt of up to 20,000 characters. For edits, upload up to 16 JPG, PNG or WebP references, each up to 30 MB. Select your ratio and resolution.
3 · Generate and download
Check the credit cost, generate your image and follow its progress. Review the completed result and download it.

What is the difference between Flare and Sunburst?
Flare is designed for fast everyday image generation. Sunburst is the more capable choice for generation and editing when precision matters. Both support text-to-image and image-to-image.
Can I edit my own images with GPT Image 2.5?
Yes. Add 1–16 JPG, PNG or WebP references with the Image button, up to 30 MB each. Editing mode is selected automatically. Describe the changes and the details you want to preserve.
Which resolutions and ratios are available?
Choose 1K, 2K or 4K, with Auto and 12 fixed aspect ratios. The 27:16, 16:27, 9:8 and 8:9 ratios only support 1K.
How many credits does generation cost?
GPT Image 2.5 costs 10 credits at 1K, 20 at 2K and 30 at 4K, twice GPT Image 2 at each resolution. These prices apply to Flare and Sunburst, text-to-image and image-to-image. Failed tasks use the credit refund flow.
Can I request precise changes with a long prompt?
Yes. Prompts support up to 20,000 characters. State what to change and what to keep, then review the result before using it.
Does the generator include transparent backgrounds or quality tiers?
The current integration exposes the available model, prompt, reference image, aspect ratio and resolution controls. Separate transparency and quality-tier controls are not currently available.
